Jason Kravetz
Investigator, Background Program Mgr.
Jason Kravetz is a retired 33-year law enforcement leader who began his career with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in 1989.
He transferred to the Laguna Beach Police Department and rose through the ranks before retiring as a Police Captain. He was asked back to the department after retirement and served as the Interim Police Chief. During his tenure in Laguna Beach, Mr. Kravetz managed a variety of divisions which included investigations, professional standards, background investigations, budgeting, risk management, parking, animal services, and patrol.
He possesses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Redlands and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from California State University, LongBeach. He is also a graduate of the Sherman Block Supervisory Institute, POST Command College, the FBI National Academy, and the International Police Chief’s Leadership in Police Organizations program.
Mr. Kravetz is a California Private Investigator/Qualified Manager (PI#188793) and a member of the Association of Workplace Investigators.
