Chad Ellis

Investigator
Chad Ellis retired as a Commander from the Long Beach Police Department and has over 29 years of service in law enforcement. In addition, he served as an Interim Captain with the Azusa Police Department. His experience includes leadership of Patrol, Detectives, and Specialized Units. During his career, he served in custody, patrol, training, investigative, administrative, and tactical roles. Mr. Ellis has significant experience with field tactics, use of force review, complex investigations, and internal affairs complaints. He has a history of working closely with executives, elected officials, and citizen groups.

Mr. Ellis holds numerous professional certifications as well as a bachelor’s degree in English from Point Loma University, San Diego. He is a member of the California Association of Licensed Investigators, and the California Background Investigators Association. He is a California Private Investigator/Qualified Manager (PI #189392).
